I’ve found that when I abstain from eating meat, there’s a 2-3 day period of intense concentration and general sense of joyful living. I don’t get angered or peeved as quickly and my attitude is much more open and willing to cooperate with others. However, after this 3 day period, there’s a great feeling of uncertainty with each moment. As if the simplest decisions like, whether or not to get coffee are tea, can really hold some weight over me. It’s this frantic sense that my self is divided or fragmented. As if eating meat, or absorbing the proteins that are found in them, give the body/mind a sense of decisiveness and “go get em’” attitude.
There’s no floundering or over speculation with small and large decisions. However, the trade-off is sluggishness and procrastination. I find the psychology behind what we eat so fascinating. I’ve even tried juice fasts before, just to witness the effects first hand. I think the longest I went was 22 hours and this was just on juice and water. During this period I had little in the way of concentration and my mind would dart frantically when online or watching tv. There seemed to lack a kind of cohesiveness in my attention span.
Is this truly living in the moment? What Buddhist have long preached and possibly why they preach a meat free diet? Or am I using words like “frantic” because in our Western Civilization, the idea of just hanging around and not doing anything from A-B-C has been frowned upon since the dawn of the industrial age?
But back to the psychology of meat or abstaining from meat. When I was 21 and going to Salem State College, my 18 year old roommate was a full on vegan, and in all my 21 year old openness to the world, I gave it a go – and it lasted 8 months…or until Thanksgiving came around. I was in better shape then, was going to the gym, so the transition was easier. I was also in an environment where it was easy to pull off – with a cafe that cooked for me and a roommate that never ate meat. It’s like the saying we are who are friends are, or whomever we’re closest to for an extended period of time. Because I noticed while living at home, the discipline to keep this up always faded away.
I’m currently not a vegetarian, but there are times when I desperately consider going back on a full-time basis. Like I previously said, there’s a 3 day period of feeling great and on top of the world. Then your body cries out, being conditioned to the “richness” that is a juicy steak or burger, and it can be quite tough. I guess the bottom-line is, cold turkey hardly ever works in switching sides, as there definitely has to be a mental aspect of preparing for the change.

There’s a great deal of forethought and patience in this artist. She doesn’t come off as a reactionary, hungry to devour 15 minutes of sound bytes, and cash out on mansions and other trappings. There’s an image, a message, a great desire to be respected, and to be seen beyond flash/glamour. But the flash/glamour is no doubt the 8 cylinder hybrid of transmission.
It’s true that most mainstream entertainment is packaged demographic- ready, usually with an album shelf life already planned out as well. It doesn’t appear to be so with this paritcular entertainer. Then again the whole hoodwinked process may be in full effect, as a counter against coming off as just that – prepackaged and predictable, and its to be thoroughly avoided…as genuine thought forms are making a steady march back to our conscious minds. (see avatar and its runaway success)
There’s a certain DIY ethic that emanates from her stage costumes, music, and general placement in the popculture landscape. A landscape that is increasingly cyber and becoming less skin and gaffe prone. Controlled and calculated. Sure her final product is this in a way. But when being inteviewed, there’s a kind of free flowing creative ash that can’t help to be a backlash when considering the media volcano her generation lays claim to.
In no way should she be elevated to an immediate musical goddess. Or some futuristic king of pop, but with the benefit of being present for all of us. Although this could be the case.
To others it’s all about hyperbole and within this hyperbole there can only be a fabricated sense of truth. Or the most daring thing to do is to live fully within this hyperbolic truth?
It’s ironic how “Icons” in any field can really only be realized by the generation that was just barely or not even alive when this performer was at their prime. You’d think that with thousands of years behind our backs in studying human nature, we’d have some kind of Icon detector in our makeup. Not so. Then again this level of psychic ability would confuse us beyond imagination, at least with how we presently view the world…which is one life, one chance, then you’re dust. Reincarnation is quite the infant, crawling to it’s crib.

Jesus was recorded as saying something to the affect, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) Then I thought about the idea of devolution and it certainly seems like we’re relishing in this process. (see “Snooki” from Jersey Shore or the majority of celebrities that achieve celebrity for reason of coming from a royal family – hilton – or just willing to have a camera around them as they loose their marbles on a consistent basis – see lindsay lohan) Of course mankind’s track for the future, can never be summed up by pop culture. But you kind of have to assume that if these pop figures are selling, then a majority of Americans are in line with their thinking. Or are corporations just force feeding this as entertainment and inflating the real numbers?? Chicken or the egg argument.
So is it possible that all is going according to plan? Or the plan Jesus supposedly envisioned while alive? Infants of the state, being looking after throughout adulthood? Hence the explosion of Obama-care…Obama-celebrity…etc. Although recently this is waning. However I feel that once the loud voices within the Repub. party die off, we’ll suck down socialism much more readily.
As if men were initially giants, roaming the earth with dinosaurs, even riding dinosaurs as some kind of pet, and over the centuries man has been steadily declining in stature and intellect – before he becomes pure energy/light and returns to this kind of promised heaven? Or the dystopian vision is equally true – before he returns to the mud, or reverts back to an animal state first.
Jesus preached the importance of not praying in a public space. He said it was better to close one’s door and pray to the lord in private. Wasn’t this a direct warning against the formation of churches? Public prayer. So religion, in the eyes of Jesus could possibly be the one thing that has plagued mankind since its inception. For it reeks of personal sin, which is really nothing more than a reinforcement of one’s ego through publicly appealing to God. When if man were to truly take heed to Jesus’ words, a personal journey of understanding could be achieved through prayer and meditation BEHIND closed doors. Which kind of hints at more support towards Buddhism more than the chauvinistic and paternalistic attributes of Christianity.
- Matthew 6:5 – 7
- 5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- Jesus says you must definitely not pray as the hypocrites pray.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Here Jesus says when thou prayest, you must pray this way:
(1) enter into thy closet.
(2) shut the door.
(3) pray to thy Father which is in secret.
(4) use not vain repetitions.
It’s as if Catholics or most religions, never took heed to this important directive, a directive from their almighty saint. Instead obvious profit was to be made, as the psychologists of the day understood mob mentality before anything else. a
Jesus promoted private prayer. Public prayers and long prayers were suspect.
I think Matthew 6:5 – 7 are the best verses attributed to Jesus in the Bible.

I haven’t spit on to paper for some time, so here goes it. I am existing in a void, created by myself, although, its like a space time continum. If you don’t understand these words, thats K, it means, you’re at least trying to meet me half way. You should really read these words in a sing song way. That’s the only way for them to be eaten, not beaten into your eardrum, hun. If you catch a spider by its toes. Don’t release the little buggah, until he’s learned the lesson of love. Again it all makes sense in a sing song kind of way.
One day I will go gray, or the remaining particles will sway this way. This does not bother me in the slightest bit. All I know is that I have a point of origin, foreign to many of my cohabitants. I have been reassured that after I’ve influenced the ones that I had to influence, the chord will be cut, and float up I will to this point of relative peace and understanding. For now I while away, in front of screens that are mean, obscene, and looking for a plastic buck here and there. I believe that sensical diary entries are for children under 16. Anyone older should refrain from such self pity and self assurance. It’s really just burrowing your head into the sand of your own demise. At least pain with good humor and misunderstandings. Then this way you can crack your head off and only have to worry about your IP address being accounted for.
I guess the lowly man in society doesn’t have to much worry about having his nitty gritty passages being discovered or transmitted throughotu the multi-verse. Even if he does committ crime, he is a number like before he was guilty, so the public’s interest is severely non-existent. So the artist that would want to creat strange and authentic works, must not be discovered until after he has died. Become too famous too soon and you lose all the uninhibited juice that you began with. This seems too simple and rational, but not often preached amongst men.
I could never write a book, because fake character don’t move me. Things on the fly do and they usually are much shorter in nature. Not really commerce ready or suitable to a publishing audience. Ramblings are good for the teenage soul, the quarter crisis soul, and all the rest. They really do cleanse the soul of much in the way of mental baggage. I mean I’m trying to meet girls on craigslist, but I understand the 99 percent chance that it’s just another person hucking a dating site URL my way. But wouldn’t it be great, if all these posts were legit and people were just that open with their sexuality? I view this as an approachable heaven, but far from my earth days.
By then sex will really be viewed as historic animal behavior. Man will be too busy with all of his great gagdets to worry about rubbing skin together. It will seem extremely infantile. Especially if man achieves immortality. Although I’ve thought about the prospect of man being able to clone his organs. Naturally the biggest market share would go towards cloning your penis. So you’d have this brand new penis every christmas, as the wife shrieks with joy as she wraps it up with a bow. Man will have his own organ farm in a seperate room of his house. Debates will rage initially, as the price will be high, over when the best time to replace such and such organ. But as it becomes more commonplace, organs will be cheap, covered under some kind of insurance, and this will be the precursor to immortality. Then it will get into the exciting idea of creating unique skin suits in a lab and becoming a different SIM character on demand. The only catch is that your soul/personality will remain the same for eterntiy. Or you’ll see yourself evolve, but you’ll always be that same person from birth…strange.
People like Michio Kaku fascinate me because it seems like their mind is perpetually geared towards on the present and future, but mostly future. Like their mind is living 50 years from now, but their bodies are stubbornly stuck in the present, they have no choice..until time travel is real. But this happens to varying degrees with all modes of time. People that are heavily into Civil War reenactments, War history, etc. have a more reflective mind. They are too crushed by all the disorder of the present and so find a very strong comfort in the annals of history. This seems obvious. These are historians, that possibly had rough childhoods, so they were forced to turn to prior eras to cope with what was going on. I think futurists may have been lonely as child, so there imagination was more fertile. Or kids that just were creative with a scientific bent to there way of reasoning out life.

This body, this face, this pose, does not seem real. I cannot understand how this kind of girl would ever prance down my street. She is a hollywood fabrication. Made up in some lab, by some mad doctor inspired by the works of Aldous Huxley. That perfectly laid out doll face, exposing all of our lusts in one pose. We want to dominate someone like this. This pop perfection. We want to become close to such a being. She is not from this planet, I have been assured from Government agencies. She is sexual, yet young, and is starting to blur the line between girl and woman. Not a teenager, but hardly a mother bearing our children.
Our fantasy. Us men view a picture like this and are struck by the perfection. We run our imaginations wild with how we would proceed with such an angelic specimen, if she was mad about us in some beachside villa. We wonder, we Lust, we are not well. (ashley tisdale)

Bait, Bait, and Bait.
If you can provide an ample enough amount of Bait, they will come. They will hover to your side and beam wide with curious eyes of wonder. This could be on the school yard as a child or much later in life with endearing blog titles that draw the masses, the binary masses.
But today I have no bait for you people. I have a fat ass, getting fatter, and a silent reverie head that could only get more silent by transforming into a radical black hole of sorts. But a black hole developing inside one’s head? Impossible! However this could explain spontaneous combustion..
I come here as a place of ultimate refuge. Knowing that at any time, some curious employer, family member, or computer geek with me as the enemy – could easily track down my IP and print out these pages. Post them to my door and drag my name through mud, through and through. This is all possible. But the paranoia won’t hardly seep into my numbing veins of thought and action.
Can’t live like that none. Nah
Do Christians become more extreme, like Muslims, when their religion is not receiving ample press coverage? Are muslims where christians are heading in, 100-200 years? When a religion continues to lose influence decade after decade, wouldn’t physical extremism be the last refuge? Think about the Koran…it preaches violence against the infidels until the very end. If we are becoming a more enlightened people, loosening our collective ties to war, wouldn’t our views as a world be anti-islam as we progress towards a higher frequency of being? And the outcome is extremism, terrorism, amping itself up, year after year, until it totally self-destructs..along with a large part of non-islamic people?
So goes the way of organized, dogmatic religion, or at least a religion based on a leader that was a strong advocate for self-defensive violence?

If an animal is alone for a prolonged period of time, he will inenivitably pleasure himself. Is this also so with man? Is it due to the fact that man feels useless, so as a way to find purpose (which his predisposed purpose is) recreates, albeit by himself? Because at least physically he’s performing the act that would serve to procreate.
These are rhetorical questions that will not be answered in a blog comment.
Also in a random observation, don’t these pictures line up quite conveniently? Is it possible that Aleister Crowley is using Lady Gaga as some kind of channel? You’d certainly think so with this person’s devotion to the topic.
He observes each new Lady Gaga video or VMA appearance and critiques it on a whole other level. An Illuminati laced level. It’s entertaining like all other conspiracy theories. For conspiracy serves to entertain us serfs for our live long days.
Enjoy.
